HI, I'M KEKE

HI, I'M KEKE

Why my brand is called Keke?

When I was born I got the name Keren from my parents. A year later my parents divorced and from that time my mother's family started calling me Karin because Keren was the name of my deceased aunt.
Basically until I was 26, I lived between two worlds that I was not connected to either of them, one side called me Keren and the other Karin. Confused. I did not feel complete and was looking for my identity.
Karin and Keren are two identities that lived within me but neither of them is entirely me.
This nickname, Keke, my great-grandmother gave me as a child. When I finished creating the first collection, I realized that it was the one who always knew what the name should be called to me and later also to my brand.

Who am I?

During my trip to the East after the Army I was dreaming about fashion design, an area where I could create for others a shell for their bodies that they could feel as they would like to feel.

I realized that this is my contribution to the universe, my mission is to help people feel beautiful, right and exactly as they dream when comfortable and feel good for themselves.

When I returned to Israel I started studying fashion design and styling and decided that I would not give up on my dream.

I worked for Israeli fashion companies and after two years I realized that in order to fulfill my mission I need to create a brand that is me and bring myself in 100%..

I create my feelings, my friends, clients and stories along the way, I create myself. Through creation I take care of myself and through my models I take care my clients. My designs are not seasonal or trendy. They are part of our story at some point in our lives and most of them are appropriate for the rest of our lives

KEKE STUDIO

In 2017 I opened my first studio in the Florentine Quartet in Tel Aviv, where I created at OPEN SPACE, in front of the general public, and it is also ran as a Showroom.

I work in free sampling mostly and create unique models most of which are ONE PIECE. Most of the models are black and with different textures, made of natural and sheer fabrics alongside stiff fabrics, casual designs alongside avant-garde.

At the end of 2019, my studio moved to Jaffa and can be reached by prior arrangement so my client care is personal and unique for each one.
